This album is the unreleased debut of The Graylings. The songs were written as a mediation album and are based on colors and musical keys that are said to have a corresponding emotional characteristic. The songs also play with merging music and field recordings - the ultra sound heart beat of an unborn nephew serves as the percussion, hymnals sung by a 95 year old man and his 3 year-old great grand daughter, a lake in Minnesota, an antique music box etc. This album is not meant to be the focus but rather the soundtrack to contemplation or the sonic patina in the warm glow of home.
